Loft Conversion - Shirley, Southampton

We transformed this 3-bed terrace in Shirley into a 4-bed home, complete with en-suite shower room.

Before

Our customer contacted us initially to get some plans drawn up for a loft conversion in her 3-bed terraced home. Her family live in Europe, so she required an additional bedroom with en-suite bathroom for when they came over to visit.

During

We accessed the property by cutting through the roof where the dormer would be built. This enabled us to work on the conversion from inside without needing to disturb the neighbours. We installed two roof windows on the opposite side to bring extra light into the room and en-suite.

After

We carried out 2nd-fix carpentry works, installed a new staircase to gain access to the converted area, installed a brand new shower and toilet suite, and decorated throughout. Our customer is delighted to now have that fourth bedroom with en-suite so her family can come to stay. And when they don’t have visitors, they have use of a lovely cinema room!
